About Carrie
With several years of experience in various media spheres, including production services and press offices, Carrie now writes lifestyle features, specialising in careers, training and education, particularly music. She was highly commended in Watson Wyatt's HR Media Awards 2008 for her freelance work on Pay magazine.
Apart from this, her main area of expertise - and long-held love - is sport, reporting on sporting events for agencies, writing features for newspapers and websites as well as providing unique content for various sports-related websites. She is the author of A Brand New Bright Tomorrow - a Hatter's Promotion Diary.
She is currently studying for a doctorate and combines that with teaching undergraduates at the University of Hertfordshire and the London College of Communication.
